I am so nervous...
Tommorow is a big day for me. Even as I write this I'm very worried, about what I'm going to be undertaking. Tommorow I get to take 10 Marines under my charge and perform a maintenance evolution.

Happy Turkey Day!
It's that time of year again. It's time to give thanks and remember the things that we are thankful for. I'm thankful for my family, and being able to get vertical everyday. I really don't know where I would be without my awesome wife and child.
They are... simply put...the best things that have ever happened to me.I wish we had more to do today, but we don't. I'm just going to a co-workers house and going to hang out there for a little while. I've got six more lbs to lose and I'll be at my max weight, so its going to be a light turkey day for me unfortunately, but I do what I must.
Once again, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

It's been a rough week.
This week was pretty intense, between playing Division Chief for my Workcenter and trying to manage the training the my Marines had to take care off, it got pretty hectic. I worked some really long days, and still managed to stay on track with the Insanity Program. Its been especially taxing on my wife, because she is always at home taking care of our kids and dealing with the stress that they are giving her and myself, not really having the energy to help her as much as I usually do.
On a more positive note, I'm down to about 188 lbs! Eight pounds left and I will be where I need to be. My goal is to reach 170 lbs by the time I'm down with the 60 days that this program requires. Yesterday was an off day so we didn't do much. I did however go to the sauna just to burn off the some extra calories. I really enjoy doing this workout program, and I can feel the results already even though I'm only on Training Day Eight.
If I didn't say this already I've got a gamefly.com account, its pretty much netflix for video games and one of the best video game series I've ever played was put on one disc for my Wii: The Metroid Prime series. ALL three great games on one disc. I started playing the original Metroid Prime for the GameCube back in 2002, I think and omg it was such a great game. In 2008, I played Metroid Prime 3: Corruption another great title. I can't wait to try it again. Also, my brother spoke to my wife and convinced her into getting the controller keyboard and headset for my X-Box 360, it was pretty cool when I was playing Cod 4: Modern Warfare with my brother, but it made me remember why I don't use voice communication with console titles. People are just down right rude, vice being in vent while doing a 10/25-man raid in World of Warcraft, where if the guild is worth its pay in salt, its VERY professional, but oh well. Thats what I get.
The agenda for today is get my workout out of the way go in to work for a little while to get some word that needs to be passed, get the house cleaned and the laundry done, and HOPEFULLY be able to just chill and watch a netflix streaming movie.
Later guys!
The wife and I fought quite a bit because I was too angry, bitter or just tired to assist her. I find myself yelling at my son over the smallest thing he does. He was just setting me off the wrong way. For example, yesterday we all went to the X-treme day at the MCX, we watched a few freestyle motorcross shows and my son had a blast, watching the bikes jump into the air, but when we got home he made a comment toward me that just made me blow up and kick him out of the room. It was uncalled for, I know that, but I got so mad that my wife took my daughter's play yard and moved into the other room. I slept by myself last night. :(
I really don't know what it is, but it seems like I just can't win with my wife. I know that she works really hard to take care of our household, but everytime I come home the house is a mess with stuff everywhere, lots of things in disarray, and I ask her what can I do to help and she just glares at me and says, "Don't worry I'll do it!". So I just carry on doing my usual thing. Right now my computer desk is a mess and I know that I should clean it up, but I don't know where half of the stuff goes or where she would want me to put it, but I can't do any of my schoolwork here because I don't know what she wants to do with half of the crap thats on this desk. I understand that I shouldn't expect her to clean up, but she won't tell me where any of the stuff goes to allow me to clean it up for her. And if I ask her to clean it up, and she refuses, I can't yell at her or reprimand her like she is one of my Marines, it doesn't work that way with wives unfortunately, and honestly, that is a good thing..On a more positive note, I'm down to about 188 lbs! Day One of Insanity
So...today my wife and I started T-1 of the Insanity workout, "T-1", meaning Training Day One. Marine Corps lingo that I've picked up over the years. The workout was title "Plyometric Circuit Training", and holy cow that workout put me in the hurt locker.
Since I've returned from NAS North Island I've dropped over NINE lbs. When I first saw the infomercial for this workout plan the person that made it claimed that people who perform his workout burn up to 1000 calories in one session and I'm pretty much living proof of that. Before I worked out I weighed 191, when I was done after 35 minutes of it I was down to 189...wow...
Also, I found out that I've got a weigh in coming up on the 11th of December and with this program as long as I stick to a very lean and clean diet I have no doubt that I'll make weight, I've got 9+ pounds to lose guys, wish me luck. I'm very tired so...
See ya when I see ya.

Insanity!
Today, my wife and I started the INSANITY workout program. It's actually pretty neat, today was just the fitness test, so it didn't really blast us away, but it was challenging non-the-less. I'm going to be performing the workout in the mornings before I go to work. My wife made the decision to do it after I get home for safety reasons; ie. she passes out and my two children are left with their mother passed out, pray that doesn't happen. But today was Day One, and I'm really looking forward as to what this program can do for me. I've got about 12 lbs to lose before I am at max weight, and I can't wait to get there.
My wife made the decision to go to church this morning which was...refreshing if nothing else. She is just as excited about performing this workout program, I am really enjoying it because we get to work out together without having to make prior arrangements with a babysitter and I don't think that I've ever had type of thing in common with my wife, to be perfectly honest I'm really enjoying it.
It's Sunday night and not really too much going on. I went outside to play some basketball with my son and about 15-minutes after walking in my son just past out on the couch, which I seriously think is awesome! I played some WoW, probably going to hit up the X-Box 360.
Right now on my X-Box 360 I'm playing this game called, "Wet". Think of Kill Bill and Devil May Cry put together, pretty interesting theme, google it if and when you get a chance.
Tommorow is Day Two of Insanity! and I couldn't be looking forward to it more.
Purpose
As stated above, the entire purpose of this is simply to use as an outlet for my the thoughts running through my head.
These last few weeks have been pretty interesting. I was sent away to paint school in NAS North Island, Coronado California, in that time the wife and I had some major altercations and I did quite a bit of soul searching since it was just my roommate and I. The din of a full household wasn't there. And not to mention the fact that I had WAAAY to much time on my hands.
We were going in to school at eight o'clock in the morning and a late day would be us getting out noon, so after school my roommate and I would just break out the Nintendo DS's and just hit up Final Fantasty IV, or try and make use of the fact that we were in the military and try to hit up all the free things that we could do. There was one evening where we made a trip to San Diego Zoo where the only thing we paid for was the shitty nine dollar cheeseburger and fries...Seriously, the food they served at the World Famous San Diego Zoo was definitely not worth the money that I paid for.
Anyway, the reason that I think me being gone for those really HARD :P three weeks was that I got to do alot of soul-searching, and my wife had exchanged some very harsh words with each other, and at times it was awkward and sad, but it woke me up as to what is really important. While I was out there I found direction...and dare I say it...purpose.
My wife and I have a history of being at each others throats when we are apart, especially this time since she is the only one taking care of our two young children, but this time it was especially bad, but it was a very severe and needed wake up call for me. Call me late, but I wake up now with DRIVE, it has been a very long time since I've actually felt like this, almost as if I'm alive again, and everyday before this has just been me existing.
I know what I want to do, I know what I need to do to achieve it...and I shall.
